A new window architecture
Soliston is a patented outward-opening window system developed to bring architecture, thermal performance and serviceable technology into one coherent construction.
The conventional interior frame is removed from view, while opening, locking and technical functions remain accessible within the window.
Frameless on the inside
Viewed from inside, Soliston removes the conventional window frame from sight. What remains is a clean architectural opening formed by the finished wall and reveal.
Fixed and opening windows share the same interior expression. Function no longer needs to introduce additional frame lines between the room and the view.
Outward opening. Clear on the inside
Soliston follows the Nordic outward-opening principle while keeping the opening structure, hinges and locking functions away from the interior architectural surface.
Fixed and operable units can share the same light opening, visual depth and interior expression. Function changes, but the architectural rhythm remains continuous.
Engineered as a complete system
The frame, exterior protection, glazing position, concealed operating hardware and accessible service space are designed together rather than assembled as unrelated additions.
The sectional construction separates structural, thermal, weather-protective and service functions. Components can remain accessible, replaceable and adaptable as the system develops throughout its service life.
One system. Different functions
Soliston is being developed as a family of fixed and operable windows, including single openings and combined arrangements with or without mullions.
The core construction maintains a consistent architectural language across the different configurations. Final size limits, glazing options and available combinations will be documented in the Soliston Technical Overview.
